Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

HAAN MAIL PRO maintains strict zero-tolerance policies regarding unsolicited email, purchased contact directories, and deceptive practices.

1. Mandatory Opt-In Consent

You must have explicit, verifiable consent from every recipient before sending them marketing or promotional communications. Specifically:

  • No Purchased Lists: You must never upload or send to email lists bought, rented, leased, or harvested from third parties or automated scrapers.
  • No Dictionary Attacks or Role Addresses: You must not send to generic addresses (e.g., admin@, postmaster@, info@) unless you have direct, explicit consent from that business.
  • Reconfirm Stale Directories: If you have not communicated with an audience for more than 6 months, you must reconfirm consent before launching large blasts.

2. Prohibited Content Categories

You may not use HAAN MAIL PRO to transmit, store, or promote:

  • Phishing campaigns, credential theft, or social engineering lures.
  • Malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or malicious download links.
  • Unregistered financial schemes, cryptocurrency giveaways, or "get rich quick" promises.
  • Pornography, adult dating services, or sexually explicit content.
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal drug and firearm commerce.

3. Mandatory Sender Identification & Unsubscribe Rules

Under international anti-spam standards (including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL), all outgoing email campaigns must adhere to the following technical standards:

  • Accurate Header Information: Your "From", "Reply-To", and sender domain must accurately identify you or your business. Spoofing headers is strictly prohibited.
  • Valid Physical Postal Address: Every marketing message must include your physical business address or registered P.O. Box.
  • Clear & Working Unsubscribe Link: Every marketing campaign must feature a prominent, functioning 1-click unsubscribe mechanism. HAAN MAIL PRO automatically enforces this footer.
  • Instant Suppression: Unsubscribed contacts must be instantly added to your suppression list and permanently excluded from future marketing blasts.

4. Deliverability Thresholds & Auto-Suspension

To protect our software ecosystem and avoid ISP blocklisting, accounts that exceed the following deliverability thresholds will have campaign execution automatically paused pending administrative review:

  • Hard Bounce Rate: Greater than 5.0% on any individual campaign blast.
  • Spam Complaint Rate: Greater than 0.1% (1 complaint per 1,000 sent emails).
  • Spam Trap Hits: Verified delivery to known ISP spam traps or honeypot addresses.

5. How to Report Abuse

If you received an unsolicited email sent through a system that you believe violates this policy, please forward the complete message including full email headers to: abuse@haanmail.pro or support@haanmail.pro. We investigate all complaints within 24 hours.
